UNDRGRND takes The League! (Week 3, Day 3)

Last week the UNDRGRND Magazine team headed to 'The League' to chop it up with hoopers, rappers, influencers, and more. The League is an adult celebrity basketball league based in Los Angeles featuring teams like Skylark (owned by Justin Bieber), N3ON (owned by streamer N3ON), Team Cookies, and other popular brands.

The event took place at 'The Surgeon' — a half-inside, half-outside club in South Central that features a professional indoor basketball court. The place was crawling with artists at all levels.

UNDRGRND's Pofsky had the chance to sit down with a few notables, including Oranj Goodman, a Seattle-based rapper on the verge of dropping his new album, Medicine.

"Medicine is coming in the next couple weeks," says Oranj. "I have a lot of music I'm sitting on, but I have about 50-60 songs out right now."

Meanwhile, UNDRGRND's Andrew hit the scene to talk to some basketball players, including Left Hand Dom, a Los Angeles native from Team GLOW who has been in The League since its inception. 

"The League started off pretty small compared to how it is right now," said Left Hand Dom, a Los Angeles native. "The energy is very fun and we get people hooping from everywhere. Still, the talent is really high."
